- Dammy Krane resumes dragging of Davido.
- In a series of posts on his social media handles, he averred that Davido can’t take him to court because of his ex-aide, Tagbo’s death, stating that if he does, the truth will be opened.
Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has once again called out fellow artist Davido, referencing the controversial death of Davido’s former aide, Tagbo.
In posts shared on both his Instagram and Twitter accounts, Dammy Krane stated that Davido would not be able to take legal action against him, as doing so would reopen the investigation into Tagbo’s death.
He suggested that such a case would bring the truth about the incident to light. Dammy emphasized the importance of having a clear conscience, implying that only those with something to hide would fear such accusations.
He affirmed that Davido is simply using the police to intimidate him rather
He wrote:
“Y’ALL SEE Davido CAN’T TAKE ME TO COURT BECAUSE TAGBO’S D£@TH CASE WILL BE OPENED & THE TRUTH WILL BE KNOWN. Ps: Clear conscience fears no accusation.”

In other news, Dammy Krane filed a petition with the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun against colleague Davido.
Dammy Krane shared details of his petition on Instagram on Thursday, September 12. He captioned it;
“PETITION TO OUR DEAR INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE 🇳🇬 TODAY WE ARE REMEMBERING MOHBAD. HE CRIED OUT & WROTE PETITION 💡💔 SAVE A SOUL @adejobimuyiwa @egbetokunkayode.”
In the petition, Dammy Krane raised five key concerns, including a request to reopen the investigation into the death of Tagbo Umeike, a former associate of Davido.
He also alleged that death threats had been made against him by an ally of Davido.
Additionally, the singer sought the Inspector-General’s help in lifting restrictions on his bank accounts, which he claimed made it difficult for him to access his funds.
Krane alleged that Davido agreed to pay him $500,000 for a song they collaborated on but failed to follow through on the payment.
Despite these claims, Dammy Krane has refused to retract some defamatory statements he made about Davido, which were central to his recent arrest.
It is worth recalling that Krane issued a mocking apology to Davido after his release from police custody.
On Sunday, he posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing Davido crying and pleading, though the post was later deleted.
He captioned it, “Please @davido, I’m begging. I’m on my knees.”
This apology came after Krane accused Davido of playing a part in his arrest, which was connected to allegations surrounding the death of Tagbo.
Dammy Krane was arrested on August 22 and detained by the Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja for alleged criminal activities.
Activist VeryDarkMan publicly appealed to Davido, asking him not to use his influence to keep Krane in custody.
Following this appeal, a video surfaced announcing Krane’s release.
