VDM tackles Iyabo Ojo for congratulating MC Oluomo over emergence as NURTW chairman

Verydarkman calls out Iyabo Ojo for congratulating MC Oluomo over his recent win

Self-styled media police, Martins Otse, aka Verydarkman has dragged Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo over her congratulatory message to MC Oluomo, the newly appointed president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW)

In the video, he avowed that Iyabo’s congratulatory message was driven by self-interest.

Verydarkman highlighted Iyabo Ojo’s previous criticism of MC Oluomo, labelling him a “thug” and supporting Peter Obi of the Labour Party. Her sudden change in stance raises questions.

According to VDM, Iyabo Ojo’s congratulatory message was motivated by her daughter Priscilla’s upcoming wedding, where MC Oluomo might be the chairman. To VDM, this would ensure a significant financial windfall.

Verydarkman demanded Iyabo Ojo apologize for previously disparaging MC Oluomo, now that she seemingly seeks to benefit from their association.

Sharing the video, he wrote:

“Ah I hear say queen mother don go back to dey hail thvg 🥴 as expected.”

In other news, MC Oluomo’s son, King West, took to Instagram to celebrate his father’s new role as the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) president.

King congratulated his dad, expressing pride in being the son of NURTW Nigeria’s president. He also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, acknowledging his support.

King West in his post noted that they now control Nigeria courtesy of the position attained by his father.

“I am now officially the son of the president of NURTW Nigeria. Congratulations dad!! It’s official. Thank you, Mr President, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Nah, the country wey dey control now, no be only Lagos again. See my pop smile. The beast.”

MC Oluomo’s rise to national president is a significant milestone, considering his background as chairman of the NURTW Lagos state chapter.

As expected, King West’s statement didn’t sit well with some Nigerians who blasted him.
