- Ahead of today’s crucial AFCON qualifier, the Super Eagles once again showcased their signature playful spirit, lighting up their training camp with laughter and camaraderie.
- As part of their usual banter, the squad had a particular target in mind – Alex Iwobi, who recently released a new song that’s been catching attention.
- With the catchy track still fresh, his teammates saw the perfect chance to have some fun, ganging up in a chorus of friendly pressure to get Iwobi to perform his latest creation.
Super Eagles stars Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, and Samuel Chukwueze recently turned their training camp in Abidjan into a hotspot of laughter and playful jabs, targeting none other than Alex Iwobi, their teammate-turned-music-sensation.
Just weeks ago, Iwobi, best known for his skills with a football, surprised fans by releasing a new single, “What’s Luv?”, a track that has been gaining traction far beyond the football arena.
But as Iwobi and his teammates gathered in camp in Abidjan earlier this week, ahead of their crucial AFCON 2025 qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda, his fellow players couldn’t resist having some fun at his expense.
With mischievous smiles, Osimhen, Chukwueze, and Boniface, in new clip, zeroed in on Iwobi, playfully demanding a live performance of his new song. Their playful persistence filled the dining area with roars of laughter, as each player took turns teasing and encouraging him to sing a verse.
But Iwobi, clearly relishing the attention, stood his ground with a smirk, refusing to give in to their antics. With a gleam in his eye, he cheekily told them to head over to streaming platforms if they were truly eager to hear his latest musical endeavor.
