Skit maker, Amarachi Amusi better known as Ashmusy has in a recent interview opened up on the different reasons she is being stereotyped and berated.
The content creator in an emotional interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, also spoke about her childhood, as well as a couple of rumours she has been embroiled in.
Ashmusy revealed she grew up with a father who didn’t provide for them and a mother who had to endure loan sharks to take care of her children.
She asserted that despite growing up in abject poverty, she has never been a call girl nor dated any politician for gain.
Ashmusy mentioned that she wouldn’t have been so hurt if she was close to politician, Senator Dino Melaye when a rumour broke out that they were dating.
The Skit maker said she has seen hell from the media and the comment section of her posts as netizens have questioned her talent, source of income, wealth, morals and just thinking about all of the attacks she has had to endure, Ashmusy broke down in tears while speaking.
In a bid to please her detractors, Ashmusy asserted that she consciously changed her dress sense because that was one of the reasons she was being stereotyped.
Ashmusy disclosed that she borrowed hair to pretend to be one of the ‘big girls’ in school, and borrowed hair to start her own business. She claimed to have been in over 100 auditions – including Big Brother – and was not successful in any.
In conclusion, Ashmusy firmly stated that she built her career by herself, without any sugar daddy, ‘runs’, or cutting corners.
