AY and Mabel Makun allegedly in bitter custody battle over 2nd child

The once-celebrated duo, who once danced to the rhythm of love for decades, are now locked in a bitter tug-of-war that shows no sign of relenting, leaving many to wonder if the wounds run too deep for healing or if they’re forever caught in this storm of unresolved bitterness

Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun, famously known as AY, and his estranged wife, Mabel, are reportedly caught in an all-out, explosive battle that’s left their once-celebrated marriage hanging by a thread—especially when it comes to their children.

The public’s eye has long been on the couple since their split earlier this year after 20 years of marriage, a union once believed to be rock-solid. L,AY himself made the bombshell announcement on social media, put an end to the speculation and revealing the heartbreak behind their separation.

In a recent update, Nigerian blogger Stella Dimoko has dropped a steaming twist that’s left the online world reeling.

According to Stella, the former couple is now enmeshed in a bitter, high-stakes child custody war.

Her post, according to an alleged insider, reads:

“Mabel has refused AY to have a phone or physical contact with their 2nd daughter, but once Mabel goes out, the Nanny will call AY to have quality time with his daughter on the phone.”

The heat of the situation seems to have escalated, with Mabel allegedly restricting AY’s access to their second daughter, refusing him the opportunity to see her.

Stella revealed that Mabel caught AY on an unexpected day when she returned home from work, a moment that seemingly ignited the fire of their ongoing battle.

To make matters even more dramatic, it’s been revealed that Mabel is now pushing for the intervention of the courts, with the matter set to be handled by a judge.

She continued;

“On one of those times, Mabel returned home and met their daughter on the phone with AY on the Nannys phone and all hell broke loose for the Nanny who was sacked immediately and sent her back to the village that same day.”
