In other news, singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka popularly Ruger made an unusual request to his senior colleague and music superstar, Wizkid.

The Bounce crooner, known for his vibrant hits and signature eye patch, reached out to Wizkid on Saturday via his X (formerly Twitter) handle, appealing to inherit the Afrobeats star’s devoted fanbase, popularly called Wizkid FC, if he ever decides to retire from music.

In his plea, Ruger suggested that if Wizkid’s son, Zion, shows no interest in pursuing a music career, he would gladly step in to take over the fanbase.

He wrote:

“@wizkidayo if you ever decide to not do music again, and Zion no wan do music Slsef, pls write my name Ruger as the person to inherit your fanbase in your music will.”

Wizkid, also known as Starboy, is famous for having one of the most loyal fanbases in Africa. However, he has yet to respond to Ruger’s request.
