Nigerian football star, Victor Boniface displayed generosity towards football fans who gathered around the team bus in Uyo.

The national team returned to Nigeria on Friday morning following a 1-1 draw with Benin Republic’s Cheetahs at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium on the Ivory Coast.

The Super Eagles are set to face Rwanda’s Amavubi in their final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match at Uyo’s Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

In a video serving rounds on the internet, Boniface was seen engaging with fans who stood by the bus. One man could be seen showing the Bayer Leverkusen star his phone screen while Boniface typed on his own device.

Reports subsequently had it that Boniface was transferring some cash to his fans although the amount wasn’t disclosed. The cash was meant to be shared among the guys who in turn hailed him upon the completion of the transaction.
