- Dr. Becky Enenche has spoken on the importance of consistently paying tithes.
- Preaching before the congregation, Becky noted that once a person skips paying his tithe, he automatically goes back to square one and all the tithes he previously paid wouldn’t count anymore.
- Her statement has triggered a buzz on the internet.
Dr. Becky Enenche, the wife of Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has stirred considerable buzz online with her views on the spiritual importance of consistent tithe payments.
In a resurfaced sermon clip that has since gone viral, Mrs. Becky Enenche compared missing a tithe to erasing one’s spiritual progress, sparking mixed reactions online.
In the video, she stressed that failing to pay tithes effectively nullifies all previous payments, likening the act to pressing a “delete” button on a computer when a work is unsaved which will eventually result in data loss.
She explained that tithe payment is an essential aspect of a Christian’s walk with God, describing it as returning what belongs to Him.
In her words:
“Paying your tithe, returning God’s portion must be done consistently. Every time you miss your tithe, you go back to square one. The ones you did before become nullified. It’s like you pressed a delete button, gbam. And all the work you did before is gone.”

In other news, media personality, Daddy Freeze launched heavy criticism against the practice of paying tithes in church.
In a video making rounds online, Daddy Freeze reasoned how a church would demand 10% of a person’s income. Providing examples, he averred that if a person earns N100K monthly, he is expected to return N10K and so is someone who earns N40K, expected to return N4K.
According to Daddy Freeze, tithing is a fraud (Yahoo). He asked why people would give money to pastors cruising in private jets.
He further urged people to use their money to feed the poor and needy rather than paying tithes.
As expected, Daddy Freeze’s video was trailed by a lot of comments from supporters and critics.
