With every plot of land set to be gifted, every mansion unveiled, and every naysayer silenced, Obesere is turning his milestone into a historic declaration that the legacy of Omo Rapala is unshakable and eternal.

Abass Akande Obesere, the legendary Fuji maestro famously known as Omo Rapala, is set to rewrite the script on how milestones are celebrated as he approaches his 60th birthday on January 28, 2025.

True to his larger-than-life persona, the iconic Egungun crooner has unveiled an elaborate blueprint for an unforgettable extravaganza, blending gratitude, luxury, and a message that silences his critics in the most emphatic way imaginable.

During a recent electrifying performance, Obesere, in viral clip, left fans and detractors alike in stunned silence with a series of jaw-dropping revelations.

Dismissing rumors that he had succumbed to financial struggles, the Fuji icon declared his intention to spend millions of naira on five opulent mansions.

Of these luxury properties, he averred that two will grace the prestigious streets of Lekki, while three will stand tall in the bustling heart of Ibadan, his cherished roots.

In a heartfelt gesture, he announced plans to reward his loyal backup singers and dancers with multiple plots of land, ensuring they share in the rewards of their shared journey. The singer also revealed his intention to gift a brand-new home to one of his key supporters.

Speaking with characteristic flair, Obesere admitted that these plans were initially meant to remain a private celebration of his achievements and gratitude. However, incessant whispers from detractors, peddling rumors of his supposed financial downfall, pushed him to go public.

Expressing himself in his native Yoruba tongue, Obesere said;

“This coming January 28th, 2025, I will open 5 houses at once. Two in Lekki, three in Ibadan. My backup singers and dancers will also have the right to land.

“On that day, I will be giving someone a new house. I don’t want to shout, but people said I am broke and have no money.”
