Sonia Adesuwa, the ex-wife of Nigerian footballer Jude Ighalo, has reached out to married people in Lagos with a heartfelt message.

On her Instagram story, she emphasized the significance of wearing wedding rings, highlighting their role as a symbol of commitment and a public declaration of one’s relationship status.

Sonia Ighalo encouraged married people to always wear their wedding rings, noting that it helps to avoid confusion among singles.

She added that it would make it easier for singles to identify their relationship status.

She wrote:

“Married people in Lagos, please always wear your wedding rings. They are a symbol of commitment to your significant other and a public statement to total strangers. Stop confusing singles out there.

At least make e dey easy for us to know how many of us remain”.

In another news, Sonia Ighalo blasts ‘fake pastor’ who tried to profit off their marriage issue.

In a recent Instagram story, Sonia expressed gratitude towards her ex-husband, for his support in co-parenting their children despite their differences.

She also shared a video reposted from actor Uche Maduagwu, which highlighted her positive comments about her ex-husband. She then opened up on the challenges they faced during their child custody decision, alleging that a family pastor had manipulated the situation.

In her words;

“I’m just seeing this. Thanks, bro! Don’t mind all these Instagram animals. Them want make i de fight the father of my kids. Someone who fought tirelessly to be present in his children’s life despite intense manipulation(spiritually) by his family and fraudulent pastors.

Their plan was “TAKE THE KIDS FROM SONIA.” Take the kids from Ughebe-Nebo herself, ah! Please do not come to my DM and tell me to stop referencing pastors. Matthew 7:15-20. I respect MOGs, but these particular ones go chop better CANE for hell fire.

“They kuku sabi me 1st John 4:4; after all, I change some of their lives as them beg me to join the list for tithe to chop football money. Out of pity, I begin to beg on their behalf.

“Yahoo Yahoo pastors wey de go wash eye for river come de Scalabuch for person ear. He will retire soon; foul yansh go open we go see who go be the next player them go Scalabuch for.”
