‘Having less than three wives as a man is a sin’ – Actor Uwaezuoke

Actor Uwaezuoke Shares Unconventional Views on Marriage

Nollywood veteran Stephen Alajemba, popularly known as Uwaezuoke, has expressed his opinions on marriage.

In a recent interview with Ugwumba TV, he stated that marrying less than three wives is a sin and poses a risk to a man’s life.

According to Uwaezuoke, having only one or two wives can lead to conspiracy and even poisoning. However, he believes that having three or more wives would prevent this, as each wife would be preoccupied with their own lives.

He said:

It’s a sin to marry one or two wives. But if you marry three or four, you will be free from sin. If you marry one wife your life is at risk. The safety of the director is in the hands of the security. If you marry two wives, they will conspire to poison you.

“But if you marry three or more wives, they will all be on their own and you will only be providing for them. You will be taking turns with their meals and bedrooms.”

Uwaezuoke had earlier opened up on how women and people avoid him because of his face and stature.

The seasoned movie star was recently featured on yankontentfactory where he spoke on his boyhood days and how his face and stature were a constant source of mockery from people.

Uwaezuoke revealed that his father had given birth to 11 children and mysteriously, whenever any of the male child attains the age of 25, he dies.

The 66 year old recalled how the whole community were excited over his birth but were quickly repelled when they set their eyes on him.

Uwaezuoke revealed that his mother never received any gift from people as they kept making excuses not to see or carry him.

The comic actor who focuses on mainly Igbo films and pidgin also noted that women usually lose interest in him as soon as they see his face and his stature.

However, he maintained that nobody is better than him except God.
