Nigerian singer Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, popularly known as Patoranking, has finally spoken out after the burial of his sister, Chioma, and her husband, George Onuabuchi.
The tragic death of the couple occurred in August when their home was ravaged by a gas explosion, just a day after they celebrated their housewarming.
The gas explosion claimed the life of Patoranking’s sister, Chioma, on August 31, while her husband, George, succumbed to his injuries on September 11.
The incident sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, with fans and colleagues offering condolences to the bereaved singer.
Following this, on Friday, November 22, families and friends of the deceased gathered for a wake-keep, which was followed by a burial ceremony on Saturday, November 23, in Ebonyi state.
After the burial, Patoranking shared a poignant message on his Instagram story. The singer posted emojis of doves and hands joined for prayers.
Sharing the post, he wrote: “Only Heaven knows.”
