On December 2nd, 2024, the Belgian government made history by becoming the first country in the world to grant sex workers access to comprehensive health insurance, pensions, sick leave, maternity leave, safety protections, and formal employment contracts.
However, Davido’s response to Belgium’s move has been met with mixed reactions, ranging from applause to criticism.
