Hanks Anuku accused of sidelining Saka during link-up with Charles Awurum, Victor Osuagwu, others (VIDEO)
  • What began as a seemingly joyous reunion among Nollywood’s most cherished icons spiraled into a whirlwind of controversy, with Hanks Anuku caught at the center of it all.
  • Hanks Anuku was seen exchanging pleasantries with Charles Awurum, Francis Odega, and Victor Osuagwu.
  • Saka, sat quietly to the side, seemingly overlooked by Anuku in the initial flurry of greetings. The delay in acknowledgment did not go unnoticed, with murmurs rippling through social media.

Nollywood’s legendary action star, Hanks Anuku, has ignited a storm of controversy following the release of a video showing his reunion with fellow movie veterans.

A seemingly innocent clip, shared on  Charles Awurum’s official Instagram page, sparked an inferno of opinions and accusations, with every frame dissected by fans and critics alike.

The video begins with an atmosphere of uncontainable joy—a lively movie set brimming with laughter and chatter, where Nollywood veterans Charles Awurum, Victor Osuagwu, Francis Odega, and Afeez Oyetoro (widely adored as Saka) sit in an animated circle.

As soon as Hanks appeared, the seated veterans, including Saka, sprang to their feet in a show of admiration and excitement, their collective enthusiasm a testament to the reverence they hold for their colleague.

Hanks, in turn, greeted his peers with firm handshakes and animated exchanges, effortlessly blending into the lively camaraderie. However, amidst the warm interactions, one figure stood out—Saka, who was captured seated, observing the unfolding scene with a reserved expression.

Seconds tick by as Hanks immerses himself in the reunion, his focus seemingly bypassing Saka. The camera captures it all—the warmth shared with others, the visible ease of their connection.

Hanks eventually extended his hand to Saka, sealing the interaction with a handshake that many deemed overdue.

The clip, now viral, has divided the internet into two camps. On one side are those accusing Hanks Anuku of sidelining and disrespecting Saka, interpreting the delay in acknowledgment as a deliberate snub.

Others, however, have leapt to Hanks’ defense, argued that such assumptions are unwarranted and that the veteran actor meant no harm.
