- Life coach, Solomon Buchi has descended heavily on Pastor Tobi Adegboyega amid reports of his deportation from the UK over fraud.
- Buchi highlighted Adegboyega’s questionable past, including overstaying his visa and establishing a cultish church which has now been closed down.
Nigerian influencer, Solomon Buchi recently delivered a scathing critique of Pastor Tobi Adegboyega in the wake of reports surrounding his potential deportation from the UK over fraud allegations.
In a series of posts on X, Buchi emphasised Adegboyega’s controversial past, emphasizing his initial overstaying of a UK visiting visa in 2005.
Despite his illegal status, Buchi claimed that Adegboyega went on to establish SPAC Nation, a church embroiled in allegations of financial misconduct, including a reported £1.87 million fraud, ultimately leading to its closure.
Buchi questioned Adegboyega’s audacious flamboyance and opulent lifestyle, symbolized by his luxury brand affiliations, juxtaposed against his questionable legitimacy as a spiritual leader.
He criticized Adegboyega’s ability to manipulate public perception, portraying himself as a community advocate while allegedly exploiting church members financially.
Buchi further explored Adegboyega’s strategic outreach to Nigeria, where he fostered ties with celebrities like Daddy Freeze, speculating that this might have been an effort to secure a fallback plan, anticipating his uncertain UK residency status.
In a satirical tone, Buchi mused about Adegboyega’s future prospects, suggesting possibilities ranging from Nigerian politics to content creation, leveraging his flamboyant persona.
He closed by expressing concern over the gullibility of some Christians who are drawn to figures like Adegboyega, urging discernment in spiritual leadership.
In his words:
“You would think that Tobi Adegboyega who overstayed his UK visiting visa in 2005, would be circumspect about his flamboyance and inexplicable wealth, but he proceeded to not just illegally stay in the UK, but start a cultish church in London (SPAC NATION) which was shut down over an alleged £1.87 million fraud.
It’s unfathomable that this larger-than-life Gucci influencer who considers himself a pastor, has been illegally staying in the UK. What level of audacity does it require to be wrong, illegal, duplicitous and loud? Nobody embodies this better than Tobi.
Several documentaries and articles reveal the sham of who Tobi is, and stories from ex-members of his church who were financially abused. Tobi has somehow manipulated perception to suit his community-building, anti-knife-gang-advocating black charismatic leader.
A few years ago, he began spreading his tentacles into Nigeria and bought goodwill in the eyes of some celebrities like the hypocritical and sycophantic Daddyfreeze. Maybe because he knew his stay in the UK was limited, and he needed to launder his image to Nigerians.
Now the tides have come for him. The British government have trashed his appeal to stay in the UK on grounds of private life, doubting his usefulness to the British public. What shall be his fate? Move to Nigeria to contest for senator? Join Davido’s record label?
Buy ring light and start content creation like his white demon friend, Daddyfreeze. Would Gucci and Fendi help with some emergency fashion-influencing gigs for him? What is the fate of this cultural and social charlatan?
“I’m not here to love everyone, Jesus already did that…” The words of one who calls himself a pastor. I’m concerned that some Christians are ignorant enough to fall for hyperbolic quacks like this. I listen and I judge…if Tobi is your pastor.”
