Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has announced his plans to retire from the music industry in next three to five years.
The artist, known for his hit track ‘Like Ice Spice‘, shared his plans during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
He explained that his decision is rooted in his desire to secure a lasting legacy and financial stability before retiring from music.
“I will keep doing my music to the point where I know that I’ve saved up something that would last me for a lifetime; enough legacies. And I project I will be done in the next three to five years,” he said.
Speaking on his future plans, the rapper hinted at remaining within the entertainment industry, albeit in a different capacity.
“I will find another job in the entertainment industry. I would probably work as a consultant to a record label.”
