Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has spoken up amid damning allegations from his ex-label dancer, Lil Smart.

On Sunday, December 8th, Lil Smart accused Zinoleesky and Naira Marley of kidnapping, physical assault, and stealing from him.

In an emotional outburst, Lil Smart took to his Instagram stories to allege that Naira Marley and Zinoleesky orchestrated his abduction, brutally assaulted him, and stole his belongings, including $300 in cash, his wallet, and the key to his home.

He added that he managed to escape from their den naked, before luckily getting help on a busy road.

In the face of these heinous allegations, Naira Marley took to his Instagram story where he posted a chat he had with his former DJ, Splash.

Splash chatted Naira Marley, wishing him a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Sharing the clip, Naira averred in Yoruba that DJ Splash was the first person to send such wishes to him this year.

Recall that at the peak of Mohbad’s death saga, DJ Splash’s story emerged with Iyabo Ojo and other Nigerians reaching out to him to offer help.

There were claims of Naira Marley using ‘Juju’ on Splash which resulted in his current condition. It is however surprising to see that DJ Splash and Naira Marley still communicate cordially.

Still on the issue, Nigerian singer Oniyide Azeez Adigun, popularly known as Zinoleesky fired back with unflinching determination to address the storm stirred by recent accusations from former Marlian Records signee, Idowu Smart Emmanuel, also known as Lil Smart.

In a now-deleted Instagram story, the singer minced no words, accused Lil Smart of using his name for clout. With an air of disbelief, Zinoleesky firmly denied the allegations, stated that he hadn’t crossed paths with Lil Smart in years.

The Marlian signee, evidently fed up with the drama, vowed to let the law take its course. He declared his intent to initiate legal proceedings against Lil Smart, issued a stern warning for the dancer to brace himself for the consequences of his claims.
