Social media personality Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has weighed in on the recent allegations made by upcoming singer Idowu Smart Emmanuel, also known as Lil Smart.
The singer had earlier accused music stars Afeez Fashola (Naira Marley) and Oniyide Azeez Adigun (Zinoleesky) of abducting him.
In a video shared online, VDM called on the Lagos State Police Command to launch a thorough investigation into Lil Smart’s claims.
He advised the singer to safeguard any evidence he has and assured him of support.
VDM also expressed his willingness to fly Lil Smart to Abuja to ensure the case receives the attention of police headquarters.
“After what happened to Mohbad, people should be more cautious about their actions. This might be an act of God to shed light on the truth about Mohbad’s case. But Lil Smart, I hope you are being truthful,” VDM said.
Despite having recently partied with Naira Marley and Zinoleesky, VDM clarified that he is not taking sides in the case.
He expressed skepticism about the allegations but emphasized the need for justice and transparency.
In a caption accompanying his video, VDM encouraged Lil Smart to contact him.
He wrote:
“@lilsmart_ check your DM, let me know when you are ready to get on a flight.”
Meanwhile, Zinoleesky has publicly denied the abduction allegations, urging Lil Smart to prepare to prove his claims in court.
The case has drawn significant attention online, especially in the wake of unresolved controversies surrounding the untimely death of late singer Mohbad.
