Social media influencer Daniel Regha has publicly condemned those who continue to listen to the music of Nigerian artist Naira Marley, despite recent allegations of abuse leveled against him.
The controversy began when former Marlian Records signee, Lil Smart, accused Naira Marley and fellow artist Zinoleesky of assault and kidnapping.
Lil Smart shared his claims on social media, alleging that the duo had abducted and physically attacked him.
Addressing the situation via his verified account on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, Regha expressed disappointment at the continued support for Naira Marley’s music.
He wrote;
“Naira Marley still having an audience, or listening ears after all he’s been accused of, goes to show our level of unseriousness as a people. In all this, I blame the Nigeria Police.”
