The long-standing feud between Nigerian musician, Portable and TikToker, Oloba Salo has taken a darker turn.

The rivalry escalated after Salo, whose real name is Ojesanmi Afeez Opeyemi, made a shocking statement on social media. While recuperating from a gunshot wound he sustained on October 10, 2024, Salo sparked outrage by stating that Portable or DJ Chicken would have been better targets for the attack.

Portable, whose real name is Habeed Okikiola, was swift to respond to Salo’s inflammatory comments. Taking to TikTok, Portable unleashed a scathing tirade against his former friend, raining curses on him and wishing him dead.

Portable emphasized that he is a peaceful person who focuses on his music and financial pursuits, rather than engaging in petty squabbles.

Sharing a video of the moment he blasted Salo on a TikTok live on IG, Portable wrote:

“Who do bad go see bad. Who do good go see good. I pray for money and Grace 🙏”

Recall that controversial TikTok star and social media influencer, Dj Chicken hurled a terrible curse at his colleague, Salo after he was shot.

On Thursday, 10th October, news about Salo being shot in Lekki, Lagos State went viral on social media. He was subsequently rushed to hospital as he battled for his life.

Chicken in his usual routine launched a TikTok live session and took some time to comment on the mayhem that befell Salo.

Speaking negatively, he avowed that Salo would die on his hospital bed. Chicken recounted how Salo told him he would suffer a stroke and went on to ask who was currently in a stroke-like situation at the moment.

The clip triggered a variety of comments from cybernauts accordingly.
