Skales laments dwindling trust in Nigerian government


Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has expressed concern over the dwindling trust in the government.

He lamented that citizens now seek justice through fellow citizens like activist VeryDarkMan instead of the government’s establishments.

On his X handle, Skales wrote, “It’s crazy what is going on in Nigeria … imagine where the citizens cannot run to the government but to a fellow citizen like VDM for help ….smh!! God bless & protect him tho.”

Recently, more citizens have turned to activists like VeryDarkMan to seek justice.

In other news, Nollywood film marketer and producer Kazim Adeoti’s outfit to his second wife, Mercy Aigbe Adeoti’s film premiere has raised a lot of eyebrows.

Mercy Aigbe premiered her soon to be released cinema blockbuster, Thin Line on Tuesday night, December 10.

Celebrities such as Iyabo Ojo, Bimbo Thomas, Ibrahim Chatta, Moyo Lawal, Aisha Lawal, Eniola Ajao, Femi Adebayo, Dr Rommel of Rel Housewives of Lagos, Chief Femi Branch, Muyiwa Ademola, Enioluwa, Kemi Korede, Tomike Adeoye  amongst others stormed the movie premiere in their gorgeous outfits with the theme, sin city glam.

One of the moments that peaked the interest of netizens at the movie premiere was Kazim Adeoti’s entrance.

Also known as Adekaz, the movie marketer was captured in a stylish two piece gold outfit with a flap on the side.

The trendy outfit was deemed not befitting for an Alhaji by some netizens while some expressed shock about the attire being unconventional because of its Gen Z panache, a few others however praised his bold choice.
