Nigerian singer, Chinedu Okoye, popularly known as Flavour, has opened up on how he maintains a healthy lifestyle.
Flavour said his physical body nature is sustained through his eating habits and physical exercises.
The highlife singer disclosed this in a debut podcast with former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, on Tuesday.
The ‘Big Baller’ crooner said he does not eat breakfast and though an Igbo man, he does not eat ‘swallow’. He added that he takes minimal carbs.
For his drinks, Flavour said he takes herbal tea in the morning and eats at about 5 pm daily. For physical fitness, the singer revealed that he works out for two hours every day. In his words:
“Nwanne, it is tough, but I will try. First, I don’t eat in the morning; I drink herbal tea and eat at about 5 pm. Second, I don’t eat swallow; I consume minimal carbs. Third, I work out 2 hours a day.”
When Chidoka asked if his eating routine, accompanied by the herbal tea he takes in the morning doesn’t expose him to stomach ulcers, Flavour said his herbal tea is homemade.
He further disclosed that there are condiments he adds to the herbal tea to keep ulcer away. He added:
“My homemade herbal tea takes care of that; I add condiments that keep ulcers away.”
