Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable Omolalomi has addressed allegations of domestic violence against his ex-partner, Queen Dami, during a live session with Daddy Freeze.
The singer denied the claims, insisting he has never laid hands on her.
He explained that he only asked her to go offline when he noticed her on a live video at midnight. Dismissing the allegations, he questioned, “How can I beat you and you will still be in my house for two years, enjoying and doing photoshoots back-to-back?”
Portable further accused Queen Dami of inappropriate behaviour, claiming she sent explicit photos to other men while living under his roof.
Speaking about his relationship with Queen Dami, Portable revealed that he married her out of pity for her situation following the passing of her first husband, the Alaafin of Oyo. He stressed that she took Dami in simply because of her son with the late monarch.
He also highlighted his role in supporting Dami and raising her child, adding that the late Alaafin would not be upset with him because of his efforts.
In his words:
“I have never beaten Queen Dami before. I only told her to go offline when I saw her on the live video at 12am. How can I beat you and you will still be in my house for two years enjoying and doing photoshoot back to back. She was sending nud€s to men in my house.
I am at home now with my wife who is my investment. I took care of Dami and helped her to raise her child. Alaafin is not angry with me because I helped him to raise his child. I don’t love Dami, it’s because of Alaafin’s child that I married her out of pity.”
