She recounted her own experiences, from participating in monologue challenges to attending film school and creating an acting reel.

Onojaife also discussed the intersection of her work as a content creator and actress, highlighting the benefits of exploring both passions.

She expressed her enthusiasm for creating content and sharing her talents with her audience.

In her words :

Indeed, it is a tough and competitive industry. Like every other industry out there, it is tough coming into a space you aren’t familiar with. I had to quickly learn that nobody was going to offer me these roles on a platter.

“I had to put in the work. I jumped on as many monologue challenges as I could find, recreated scenes from my favourite movies, went to film school, made an acting reel, and constantly showed up for auditions.

“I have been able to show these producers and directors the stuff that I am made up of and what I’m capable of. I have been able to carve out a space in the industry by making sure that I execute every role I get like they would be my last.

“I do not feel the need to prioritise one over the other. At the end of the day, I’m getting the best of both worlds and I enjoy every moment I get to create and share myself with my audience.”

Onojaife emphasized the importance of maintaining control over her public image and avoiding the pressures of societal expectations.

The audience will only know what I want them to know or find out,” she said.
