Social media critic Daniel Regha has shared his review of ‘Seven Doors’,  the latest project from popular Nigerian actor Femi Adebayo.

Known for his sharp and often scathing reviews, Regha surprisingly rated the movie above average, giving it a score of 5.5/10.

In his review, he highlighted the strengths of the movie but also pointed out several areas where it fell short.

Regha praised the film’s storyline and cinematography, commending the production’s visual appeal.

However, he noted a significant flaw in the movie’s costuming.

According to Regha, some characters were seen wearing fashion accessories from the 20th and 21st centuries, which did not align with the 18th or 19th-century setting of the movie.

One particular example he highlighted was the Queen’s nightwear, which appeared anachronistic during a pivotal scene when her son was spiritually attacked.

In addition to the costuming issue, Regha also critiqued the movie’s pacing.

He stated that the first episode lacked a strong narrative connection, making it seem like two different movies were being merged into one.
The second episode, according to Regha, suffered from a weak buildup and failed to generate suspense, which detracted from the overall viewing experience.

Another point of criticism was the film’s dialogue.

Daniel Regha expressed disappointment over the prolonged conversations and the English subtitles, suggesting that they were not up to the expected standard.

Despite these issues, Regha singled out the performance of actor Aliu Gafar, who played Esusu.

He praised Gafar’s portrayal of the character, stating that he nailed his role perfectly.
