Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has shed light on the reasons behind his public criticism of fellow actor Jim Iyke.

Recall that earlier today, Gideon Okeke accused Iyke of being fake.

The actor set social media on fire after calling out his senior colleague, Jim Iyke, in a series of scathing remarks shared on his Instagram story.

Okeke, known for his bold and outspoken nature, did not hold back as he accused Iyke of lacking character and authenticity.

On his Instastory, Gideon Okeke wrote:

“I’ve met some really SOLID individuals.

While I’ve also met some phoney-ass peeps

Like that Jim lyke Guy who wants to be a goldfish, but has no sense of character

Small Boy To Me Small Boy.”

“If only Jim lyke could ACT! He would have been an Actor.

However, In a recent statement, Gideon Okeke elaborated on his grievances, explaining that he experienced an injury while working with Jim Iyke on a film project.

He noted that the healing process for his wound spanned two months, highlighting the seriousness of the incident.

The actor expressed concerns about safety standards on movie sets, referencing a tragic event involving actor Junior Pope that occurred earlier this year.

His words read …

For the benefit of clarity, For the benefit of My new employers,

My supporters, and the new year coming— Jnr Pope, is one death, too many, in this business. And that only happened this year, 2024.

Had I gotten anything more than these 2 stitches on the set of iim Iyke’s production, yall would still can me a fool I guess. It’s taken 3 whole Months to heal
