Cry for justice echoes loudly over brutal murder of late actor, Ernest Asuzu’s brother in South Africa(VIDEO)

As the cries for justice grow louder, the Nigerian community is left mourning not just the loss of another son but also the unrelenting tragedy that seems to follow the Asuzu family

The dark shadow of tragedy has once again fallen upon the Asuzu family, as Chinedu Stanley Asuzu, a Nigerian national and brother to the late Nollywood star Ernest Asuzu, has met a horrifying end.

On the fateful night of Monday, December 16, 2024, Chinedu’s life was snuffed out in a brutal hail of bullets by armed assailants at his residence in Johannesburg South, South Africa.

Adding a chilling twist to this tragedy is the claim by Mr. Ade, a Nigerian deeply familiar with the grim details of Chinedu’s case.

In a heart-wrenching video, Mr. Ade alleged that Chinedu’s murder was eerily tied to the strained relationship with his estranged wife, Busisiwe Sibanyoni. According to him, Busisiwe had called Chinedu earlier that day, insisting on picking up their children—despite it being Chinedu’s scheduled time with them.

Yielding to what Mr. Ade described as Chinedu’s inability to endure the relentless conflicts any longer, he handed over the children. But shortly after Busisiwe’s departure, armed men stormed his home, delivering a fatal blow that has sent shockwaves through the Nigerian community in South Africa.

Even in death, Chinedu’s ordeal has not ended. His lifeless body, a painful reminder of his tragic demise, has reportedly been seized by Busisiwe, further complicating an already harrowing situation.

This act has provoked outrage and prompted Mr. Ade to call upon Nigerians and the Nigerian embassy to intervene and ensure justice is served for the father of four who, in life, struggled to protect his family.

The Nigerian Union South Africa (NUSA) has not remained silent. In a strongly worded statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Akindele Olunloyo, NUSA condemned the cold-blooded murder.

Their President-General, Hon. Smart Nwobi, along with the union’s legal team, uncovered that Chinedu and Busisiwe were entangled in divorce proceedings, including the division of marital assets—a discovery that casts a sinister shadow over the circumstances of his death.
