A video has been making the rounds on social media, sparking a lively online conversation among Nigerians.
The clip shows singer Bella Shmurda, whose real name is Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, walking quickly into a building, seemingly in a hurry. A fan can be heard enthusiastically calling out his name and hailing him in the background.
Although Bella Shmurda acknowledges the fan with a friendly thumbs up, the overzealous fan continues to shout out the singer’s alma mater (Lagos State University, LASU) and picks up his pace, apparently trying to catch up with him.
However, the singer’s bodyguard quickly intervened, slapping the fan gently on the chest to signal that he should stop chasing after Bella Shmurda.
