Afrobeats superstar Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has made headlines with the acquisition of two luxury mansions in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Each property reportedly cost the singer N1.2 billion, bringing the total to a staggering N2.4 billion.

The mansions, showcasing stunning interiors and a touch of extravagance, have captivated fans and netizens.

Images of the luxurious properties shared online have drawn widespread admiration from Wizkid’s followers, who lauded the singer’s latest achievement.

However, not everyone was impressed, as a fan of rival artist Davido, identified as @DavidoPolice on X (formerly Twitter), expressed disdain for the properties.

The fan tweeted; “The God who did it for Wizkid should avoid me.”

The remark caught the attention of popular real estate promoter Ola of Lagos, who expressed his disapproval.

Responding to the fan, Ola highlighted the significant value of the mansions, emphasizing that the pressure placed on celebrities by fans is often unreasonable.

Some people just come online to talk anyhow without thinking that these celebrities are humans too.” Ola of Lagos wrote.
