Nigerian comedian Emeke Erem popularly known as Ajebo comedian, has issued some financial advice to Nigerian artistes.
The comedian stated that rather than splurging huge sums of money purchasing luxury cars in 2025, Nigerian artistes should come together and build 20-50k capacity gigantic halls that will give them 100 times their investment.
According to him, Nigerian artistes travel all over the world to perform in gigantic arenas and halls but when they come back home, they resort to performing in halls at hotels as Nigeria lacks standard arenas for concerts.
Ajebo who gave the advice on his Insta stories on Saturday, December 28 revealed that only Eko Hotel seems to have a standard arena and it does not even have a large capacity as it can take just 6000 people at a go. The comedian wrote on his Instagram stories:
“Our artistes perform in arenas and Gigantic halls all over the world but when they come home, apart from Eko Hotel(6000 Cap) there are no standard arenas for concerts.
We can’t tell them how to spend their money but if 2/3 of them decide to put funds together, rather buying luxury cars in 2025, they can build a 20-50k capacity Venue and 100x their investment.”
