“So Ruger is a C and S boy” – Unexpected new video of singer and Teni in church leaves fans amazed

It was an unexpected but beautiful way for the duo to begin the new year—through prayer, dedication, and humility, far removed from the typical glamour of the celebrity world.

Nigerian singer-songwriter Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known as Ruger, recently caused a stir on social media with a heartwarming and surprising moment that took place just hours before ringing in the New Year.

In a surprising yet deeply spiritual move, Ruger took his fellow music colleague Teniola Apata, aka Teni, along with him to his church, the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Movement Church in Ojodu, Zion Branch, prominent white garment church in Nigeria for the Crossover service—a sacred event where churchgoers dedicate their coming year to God.

In a moment of deep faith, Ruger took the microphone and shared his journey with the congregation. He expressed his unwavering devotion to the church, revealing that it was the place where his spiritual foundation had been built since the beginning of his career.

What really stirred intrigue, however, was when Ruger revealed he had canceled a major music performance scheduled for that night, just hours before welcoming the new year, to be at church and honor God.

Teni, ever the bubbly personality, also took a moment to speak to the congregation, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of such a profound experience. She thanked Ruger for inviting her, as well as his mother and the pastor for the incredibly warm welcome.
