‘You lie’ – Portable, in viral video, challenges Pastor Adeboye’s 2025 prophecies

The singer’s message has amplified conversations about the role of prophecy in shaping societal expectations and individual mindsets. He emphasized the power of personal faith over collective prophecy

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, widely recognized as Portable, has taken a bold stand against Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the respected General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Pastor Adeboye, during the church’s Crossover Service held in Shimawa, Ogun State, delivered a series of prophetic statements about 2025.

Among them was a chilling forecast that the year would be unforgettable for many, with some Nigerians potentially unable to endure and survive the challenges ahead.

He said: “Daddy said the year 2025 will be a landmark year, a year nobody will ever forget. The day someone has been waiting for will arrive this year.

“The wind that started blowing last year will continue to blow this year, but stronger.

“Earthly helpers will be replaced by heavenly helpers this year. Mockers will be louder and more aggressive, but unfortunately, many of them will not survive the year.

“It’s unfortunate because God does not want the death of a sinner but for them to repent. But some people have made up their minds not to repent.

“Daddy says some towns and villages will shout victory at last.”

Portable, unshaken by the stature of the revered cleric, released a passionate video that has since gone viral, openly disputing the prophecy.

He denounced the warnings as lies, unfounded, claimed they perpetuate fear rather than faith. In a defiant tone, Portable declared that the dire predictions would not apply to him or his family.

He asserted that 2025, contrary to the grim outlook, would be a year of grace, abundance, and divine favor for his household.
