Lady rumored to have slept with Davido in 2013 breaks silence after daughter declared she is an Adeleke

For Ayotomide and Anu, the stakes are personal—a fight for recognition, truth, and dignity in the face of skepticism. For the Adeleke family and friends, it’s a question of legacy and the lengths they will go to protect their name

Ayotomide Labinjo, the mother of 11-year-old Anu, has broken her silence following the viral storm ignited by her daughter’s bold video declaration.

In the clip, shared on Sunday, January 5, Anu confidently introduced herself as an Adeleke, thanking everyone who made her 11th birthday on January 4, 2024, a special occasion. However, it was the claim of her Adeleke heritage that set social media ablaze, causing a frenzy of reactions from the public.

The claim quickly caught the attention of Davido’s former lawyer, Prince, who wasn’t about to let the assertion slide, countered Anu’s statement by citing detailed DNA evidence, challenging the legitimacy of her connection to the powerful Adeleke family.

Hours after the firestorm began, Ayotomide, who has long been rumored to have had a fleeting encounter with Davido back in 2013, resurfaced on social media after a long hiatus.

On Monday, January 6, she took to her page to share an emotionally charged post. In it, she reflected on her journey of resilience, describing the wounds she’s endured and her ongoing quest for healing.

She wrote;

“All wounds heal one day, Always pick yourself up after setback”

Her return to the public eye sparked a flood of mixed reactions. Some fiercely criticized her, accusing her of seeking attention at her daughter’s expense, while others rallied behind her, believing her assertions that Davido is indeed Anu’s father.

This isn’t the first time Ayotomide’s name has been linked to Davido. In 2018, investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo brought shocking claims to light, accusing Davido of fathering a child with Ayotomide.

According to Kemi, the two had a brief encounter after a February 2013 concert in Ibadan, where Ayotomide, allegedly working as a club hostess, caught the singer’s eye. The accusations described their interaction as a fleeting one-night stand, but the implications were far-reaching.

Kemi further alleged that Davido abandoned Ayotomide and the child, refusing to provide emotional or financial support and leaving them to navigate life on their own.
