Peter Okoye absent at Paul and Ifeoma child’s dedication service, Jude Okoye, others present [VIDEO]

Nigerian music star Paul Okoye of the defunct Psquare group has for the first time taken his child with Ivy Ifeoma to church for dedication.

In October Paul and Ifeoma welcomed their first child, a baby girl in the United States. Confirming the news, Paul Okoye shared an adorable video of his older children with his ex-wife, Anita Okoye, meeting their new sibling, who would be their half-sibling.

On Sunday, January 5, Paul, also known as Rudeboy via his Instagram page, posted photos and video clips from his daughter’s dedication which was held at Elevation Church, Lagos.

The singer and his wife, alongside his elder brother, Jude Okoye and his wife were present at the event. What stirred the pot was his estranged twin brother Peter Okoye’s conspicuous absence.

Many were quick to point it out, tying Mr P’s absence to the brothers’ feud. See screenshot of some reactions and photos from the child dedication below: When Psquare turned 43 last year amid their fallout, Peter Okoye extended an olive branch to Paul Okoye, wishing them both a happy birthday without a response.

This was after Psquare fell out again because of joint funds allegedly diverted by their elder brother, Jude Okoye.

In an interview, Paul claimed Peter got him and their older brother, Jude Okoye, arrested by EFCC in December 2023. Luckily for him, after a thorough investigation conducted by the commission, he was declared innocent of all the allegations levelled against him.

Addressing Paul’s interview, Peter in an Instagram post said rather than join forces with him to reclaim their number one spot in the music industry, he chose to team up with their elder brother, Jude Okoye, to marginalise and humiliate him.

Mr P further claimed that his twin brother has constantly disrespected him, his wife, his family, his talent, his ideas and more.

In November, Paul accused Peter and their former producer of stealing his songs. In an Instagram rant, Rudeboy made it known that the days of manipulation were over and promised to release the original version of any songs of his that were being replicated.

Responding, Peter with proof, restated that the song rightfully belongs to him.
