Mother of Davido’s alleged first daughter hits back at Singer’s ex-lawyer, voices stance on paternity saga

While the truth may lie somewhere in between, one thing is certain: Ayotomide’s refusal to fade into obscurity has ensured that the drama remains front and center, keeping the public and Davido’s camp on edge.

Ayotomide Labinjo, mother of 11-year-old Anu, has stepped back into the limelight with a fierce determination to defend her narrative in the long-running paternity saga involving Afrobeats icon Davido, born David Adeleke.

After years of staying out of the public eye, Ayotomide Labinjo and her daughter, Anu, whose plight has been consistently advocated by self-proclaimed investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo, found themselves thrust back into the spotlight.

This renewed attention was sparked by a recent video of 11-year-old Anu boldly proclaiming herself as an Adeleke—a declaration that subtly but unmistakably hinted at Davido being her father.

The backlash came swiftly and fiercely. Davido’s former lawyer, Bobo Ajodua, spearheaded a wave of criticism, categorically rejecting the paternity claims and dismissing them as baseless attempts to tarnish Davido’s image.

However, Ayotomide stood her ground, refusing to be silenced or intimidated by the mounting backlash.

In a sharp and unflinching response posted to her Instagram story, while expressing gratitude to Kemi Olunloyo for her support and persistence, Ayotomide hit back at detractors, made it abundantly clear that she is not seeking validation or recognition from Davido, his family, or anyone else.

She asserted her independence, hinting that her intentions are far from opportunistic.

Ayotomide Labinjo wrote via Instagram;

“We just saw this by #DrKemi. I haven’t seen her for 7 years. Thank you for your concern ma wherever you are. We are NOT seeking validation or identity with anyone. Anu knows who she is”
