NGO files fresh petition against Mohbad’s wife, brother, demands police investigation over alleged evidence

A non-governmental organization (NGO), led by African Television founder Larry Omodia, has submitted a fresh petition urging police to investigate Olawunmi, the wife of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, as well as his brother Adura Aloba and a close associate, Damola.

The petition references a TikTok conversation that allegedly sheds light on the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s mysterious death.

Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba, passed away on September 24, 2023, a tragic event that left a deep void in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.

Despite ongoing court proceedings and police inquiries, the exact cause of his death remains unresolved.

The NGO claims the TikTok chat, involving Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi, may contain critical evidence related to Mohbad’s demise.

It has called for thorough forensic investigations into the communication devices of those implicated.
