Obi Cubana or Zenco: Many debate who is richer (VIDEO)
  • Obi Cubana and Zenco, two prominent titans from Anambra State, have ignited a fiery debate that has captivated social media, as fans and critics alike dissect their net worth and extravagant displays of wealth.
  • These celebrated billionaires, known for their larger-than-life personas, have one striking similarity: both orchestrated some of the most lavish, opulent, and record-breaking funerals in honor of their late mothers, events that brought together Nigeria’s elite in an unprecedented show of affluence.

Nigerian billionaire businessmen, Obi Iyiegbu, famously known as Obi Cubana, and Cletus Uzoezie Oragwa, popularly called Zenco, have sparked a fierce debate among internet users with their extravagant displays of wealth.

Obi Cubana, the celebrated owner of Cubana Group, made headlines in 2021 when he orchestrated a jaw-dropping burial ceremony for his late mother, Uche Iyiegbu, who passed away in November 2020.

The event, often described as the “funeral of the decade,” shook the nation, with a billionaire’s parade of excess that left tongues wagging for months.

Fast forward to 2025, and Zenco, the man behind the Zenco Group of Companies, threw his hat into the ring. Over the weekend, he organized an equally extravagant funeral ceremony for his late mother, a spectacle that dominated social media feeds.

In the clip, Tesda hit the streets, asking the public to weigh in on who they believe is richer between Zenco and Obi Cubana. The video quickly went viral, igniting a firestorm of opinions.

The comment section was flooded with passionate responses as internet users fiercely debated the two moguls’ financial supremacy.
