Nigerian singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David popularly known as  Spyro, has denied the N10.5 million debt claim made by talent manager, Ubi Franklin, over a car purchase.

Spyro has shared evidence that counters Franklin’s accusations, taking to social media to defend himself.

The controversy started when Spyro accused Ubi Franklin of owing him $5,000 for a performance at a birthday event.

Spyro made the claim public in an earlier statement, revealing that Franklin had failed to settle the amount owed for his appearance at the show.

However, Franklin responded by alleging that Spyro owed him N10.5 million for a car purchase. According to Franklin, he assisted Spyro in acquiring the car, but Spyro had yet to pay him back.

Spyro fired back with evidence on his social media, posting reminders he had sent to Franklin about the $5,000 debt, refuting the car-related claims.

Furthermore, Spyro disputed the claim that he owed 10% of the car’s value, pointing to a message from Franklin that suggested the MD of the car dealership had already deducted 10% from the purchase price.
