Rapper Busta Rhymes, born Trevor George Smith Jr., has been arrested and charged with assaulting his assistant, Dashiel Gables.
The incident allegedly occurred on January 10 in Brooklyn, New York.
According to reports, the altercation began when Busta Rhymes became upset with Gables for using his phone during work hours. The situation escalated, resulting in Busta Rhymes allegedly punching Gables multiple times, causing a swollen left eye.
Gables sought medical attention at a local hospital and reported the incident to the authorities. Busta Rhymes turned himself in to the police on January 14 and was subsequently charged with assault.
