Iyabo Ojo calls out Lizzy Anjorin over ceaseless alleged harassment, bullying and stalking

Iyabo Ojo reads the riot act to Lizzy Anjorin over reported harassment

Actress Iyabo Ojo has issued a stern public warning to her colleague Lizzy Anjorin, urging her to cease alleged harassment of her loved ones.

Iyabo made the statement on Friday, January 17 on her Instagram page, posting an image with the bold inscription, “Stop harassing innocent people.”

The 47-year-old actress called on Nigerian authorities to intervene, tagging relevant agencies in her post. She wrote:

“PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

“To the General Public, Nigerian Authorities, and Government: @npf_nccc
@nigeriapoliceforce

“I am compelled to expose a disturbing pattern of harassment by Liz Anjorin. Despite our ongoing court case, she continues to target my loved ones, hurling curses, threats, and defamation at them from her social media space. I urge the authorities to take note of this announcement.

“Liz Anjorin, I’m warning you publicly for the last time: Cyberstalking is a crime, be warned ⚠️

“Cease your harassment and bullying tactics immediately. Stop targeting innocent people, including my family, friends, and colleagues. Your actions will no longer be tolerated. Your constant curses on my children and partner are unacceptable. They have never responded or engaged with you.”

Iyabo concluded by stating:

“I demand that you respect boundaries, focus on your own life, and stop stalking me. The Nigerian Police and all authorities, please take note. To the general public, please be aware.”

The ongoing feud between the two actresses has drawn significant attention.

In June 2024, Iyabo and Lizzy publicly announced they had settled their long-standing dispute outside of court, with both confirming the reconciliation on social media, much to fans’ delight.

However, the truce appears to have faltered.

Earlier this month, Iyabo revealed during an interview with actress Biola Adebayo that she was unwilling to settle their case outside of court despite efforts from intermediaries.

Iyabo explained her stance saying, “One of my colleagues insinuated I may have a hand in Mohbad’s death. That’s why I’m in court with her—Lizzy Anjorin. They have an intermediary trying to settle the case, but I’m not taking the settlement. This is my fight-to-finish year.”

The feud reportedly began when Lizzy accused several celebrities of exploiting the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, for personal gain.

While Lizzy’s posts did not directly name Iyabo, references to a character called ‘Sepeteri’—widely believed to be a pseudonym for Iyabo—fueled speculation.

Lizzy also made damaging allegations about Iyabo’s private life, including claims of promiscuity and involvement in inappropriate acts.

In November 2023, Iyabo threatened legal action, demanding a public retraction of all defamatory statements and N500 million in damages.

She also insisted on an apology published in four national newspapers and shared on Lizzy’s verified social media accounts for 14 consecutive days.
