Nigerian actress and businesswoman Lizzy Anjorin has addressed claims of constantly fighting her colleagues.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, she revealed that she isn’t a troublemaker.
Lizzy Anjorin’s claimed that her reputation as a business tycoon and actress doesn’t allow her to pick fight with people, without being attacked first.
She blamed all her social media quarrels on her colleagues, who she claims are the real troublemakers.
Lizzy Anjorin said “for every gbas, there must be gbos gbos” and her comebacks would be extreme and harsher than the person who started the incident. In her words:
“I am a business tycoon and I am an actress. You see, I don’t take things seriously. Anything that doesn’t bring money, I don’t invest my time.
For every gbas, there must be gbos gbos. My gbos might be more harsh.
That’s why I don’t come for people, except they come for me. It’s not easy to survive in this country.
They are the troublemaker; it’s not me. They should go get a job so that they would know how hard it is to propel in business.
Before you say Lizzy is fighting with someone, then the person must be a business person. Let’s see what they do for a living”.
Chude inquired about Lizzy’s never-ending social media spat with lyabo, but the actress declined to go in-depth on it, possibly due to their ongoing court case. See video below:
WITHIN NIGERIA reported on Friday, January 17, that lyabo Ojo called out Lizzy over alleged constant harassment, bullying and cyberstalking.
She accused the controversial actress of continuously targeting her loved ones with curses, threats, and defamation amid their court case.
Recall that for over two years, lyabo and Lizzy have been at war reportedly due to the latter accusing the former of having a hand in late singer, Mohbad’s death. lyabo then shared a video mimicking and mocking Lizzy humorously.
Lizzy, seemingly offended went on to reveal some intimate details about lyabo, accusing her of promiscuity.
Following the allegation, lyabo threatened legal action against Lizzy, demanding a public apology or risk paying N500 million for her libellous publication.
In March, last year, lyabo filed a defamatory lawsuit against Lizzy; unfortunately, Lizzy failed to attend court during their first hearing. The court had later served her letters, which were pasted on her house gate.
Earlier this month, Iyabo revealed during an interview with actress Biola Adebayo that she was unwilling to settle their case outside of court despite efforts from intermediaries.
