Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, has expressed his strong disdain for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a series of posts on his Instagram story.
The agency had recently released a statement regarding the death of one of its officers, who a Yahoo boy in Anambra state allegedly shot. However, Bobrisky’s reaction was not one of sympathy, but rather one of contempt for the agency.
According to Bobrisky, the mere mention of the EFCC makes him feel like throwing up, and he labelled the agency as the most wicked in Nigeria.
He even went as far as saying that the Nigerian police is better than the EFCC. Bobrisky’s negative feelings towards the agency stem from his personal experience with them.
He claimed that the EFCC had taken him to his house and accused him of being involved in money laundering. They allegedly searched his premises, looking for evidence that he was printing money.
Bobrisky also shared a peculiar encounter he had with the EFCC officers, where they asked him for the phone number of Papaya X, a popular influencer.
However, Bobrisky refused to give them the number, stating that he was not on good terms with Papaya X and did not want to set her up. This incident has left a sour taste in Bobrisky’s mouth, and he has made it clear that he has no love for the EFCC.
It’s worth noting that Bobrisky has had a history of run-ins with the EFCC.
In his words:
“I just don’t like reading anything about efcc online, cos i feel like i wanna throw up each time i read about them. You are asking the public to be human about the loss of one of ur staff but you are d most wicked people in Nigeria.
When i was in ur custody, you took me to my house and search my house. When i asked you guys why? You claim I’m into money laundering you want to check if I’m not printing money in house. Police are 100 better than you all 1million times.
After writing my statement you asked me to give you papaya number i told you i don’t have her no, even if I’m not talking to her i wont be heartless to set her up like that cos i wasn’t train to be a snitch.
I’m a good citizen that obey laws, if not immediately i got ur invitation letter i would have flew out of Nigeria cos i had two countries visa on my passport. But i said no I’m a public figure let me honor their invitation.”
