Burna Boy supposedly reacts to Speed Darlington’s release from prison

Speed Darlington: You’ll go back to detention if you misbehave again – Burna Boy

Grammy-winning singer, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has seemingly reacted to the release of his controversial colleague, Speed Darlington, from Kuje prison.

WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Darlington, who was arrested and detained by the police for reportedly accusing Burna Boy of having an immoral relationship with embattled American rapper and music executive Diddy, was released on Tuesday, weeks after he was granted bail.

Reacting to his release, Burna Boy threatened to send Akpi back to detention if he “misbehaved” again.

He warned that this time around there would be no mercy. He wrote:

“If you like misbehave again, you’ll go back to where you came from! And this time around, there will be no mercy! #DontMessWithODG🦍”

Speed Darlington also known as Akpi, was earlier arrested on October 4, following the release of a contentious video in which he allegedly mocked his colleague, Burna Boy’s association with American rapper Diddy, who has faced legal issues with the FBI over charges of sexual exploitation.

The outspoken Nigerian singer was, however, released on bail on October 9 after spending five days in detention.

He was rearrested in Owerri, November 27, 2024 before his latest release.
