Nigerian music executive, Ubi Franklin, has broken his silence in a bold and emotionally charged Instagram post, baring his chest about the toxic underbelly of the entertainment industry.

Speaking from a place of both frustration and resilience, Ubi reflected on the heightened animosity and division that now define the creative space, a reality he says has been underscored by his own recent public ordeals.

In his lamentation, Ubi painted a grim picture of an industry consumed by toxic energy, where aggressive rhetoric and even veiled threats have become the norm. He described this environment as one that not only stifles creativity but also threatens the growth of the next generation of artists.

According to him, this hostility creates a climate where investing in new talent becomes a perilous endeavor, fraught with unnecessary battles and underhanded schemes.
