- Kemi Olunloyo ignited a frenzy online with her unconventional list of Africa’s top 5 pastors, backed by personal, revealing encounters.
- The glaring omission of heavyweight pastors like Adeboye, Oyedepo, and Kumuyi triggered a buzz online with disapproval and a challenge to her bold choices.
Nigerian investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo dropped a bombshell on her TikTok, unveiling her controversial picks for the top 5 African pastors, omitting some of the most powerful spiritual leaders in the continent.
In a no-holds-barred video, Olunloyo kicked off her list with Pastor Jerry Eze, the face behind the largest and fastest-growing online prayer movement, NSPPD.
She lavished praise on his ministry, emphasizing his rare gift of connecting deeply with his audience and using the right words to unlock divine breakthroughs.
Next, she gave a detailed account of her turbulent past with Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the head of Salvation Ministries.
Despite their bitter clashes, which once saw her arrested multiple times over defamation, Olunloyo revealed how a divine encounter with him transformed her. She described him as one of the finest faith healing pastors she’s encountered.
In no particular order, the third spot went to Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM).
Despite the controversies surrounding his miracle products, Kemi Olunloyo hailed him as a powerful figure in the ministry. She recounted how his prayers pulled her from a deep depression, leaving her convinced of his spiritual prowess.
The final two spots went to Ghanaian giants—Mensa Otabil of the International Central Gospel Church and Bishop Salifu Amoako of Alive Chapel International. Olunloyo credited both for their impactful online messages, which resonate with millions.
