- Sir Dickson publicly shared his opinion on the split between 2Baba and Annie Idibia, stating that Annie cannot play the victim in the situation.
- Dickson supports 2Baba’s decision to end the marriage, emphasizing that it’s a personal and valid choice after enduring marital challenges.
- Sir Dickson argues that Annie’s decision to stay in the marriage despite its difficulties was hers alone, and she should take accountability for it.
Social media commentator Sir Dickson has weighed in on the ongoing separation saga between music star 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) and his wife, actress Annie Idibia.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Dickson criticized Annie for attempting to play the victim, asserting that 2Baba’s decision to end the marriage was justified.
According to Dickson, 2Baba has reached a point where he can no longer endure the challenges of their relationship, emphasizing that his choice to walk away is both valid and personal.
He also pointed out that Annie’s decision to stay in the marriage despite its struggles was entirely her own, and she should take responsibility for it.
Dickson dismissed claims that Annie was a victim, citing rumors of her alleged violent behavior in the marriage.
He also called out those who defend staying in toxic relationships under the pretense of marital commitment.
According to him, Annie’s reluctance to leave earlier was a personal choice, and she should not now present herself as a victim in the situation.
On the topic of infidelity, Dickson explained that Annie knew from the beginning that 2Baba had a history of being unfaithful.
He argued that 2Baba had never hidden his inability to remain faithful to one partner, and Annie’s decision to stay with him despite that fact was her own responsibility.
In his words:
“We accept the love we think we deserve. Annie suffered with him. What exactly did she suffer with him? She has never been rich herself. 2Baba is the one with the money. If you’re talking about infidelity, she CHOSE to stay with him knowing he loves to sleep around. He has never hidden the fact he can’t stick to one woman. She is not a victim.”
“2face choosing not to stay with her for his own reason is valid. He doesn’t have to stay with her simply because she chose to stay with him. Her reason for choosing him is personal. His reason for quitting is personal. There are rumors she is a violent person anyway.”
“When I ask you to throw toxic relationships away, you say, ‘How can you just ask married people to throw their partner away?’ Okay, die there. You all know this marriage has never been healthy. You don’t have a problem with the divorce; your anger is that Annie is not the one breaking up.”
