Nollywood actress cum filmmaker Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi is basking in well-deserved glory as her latest film, ‘Alakada: Bad and Boujee,’ has set a sensational milestone by raking in a whopping ₦460 million at the box office.
In an Instagram post that has since gone viral, the actress celebrated the monumental achievement, thanking fans and calling for even more support to push the film further.
“The journey to beat my last record started immediately after we finished the production of Alakada,” Abraham wrote, highlighting her relentless determination to surpass her previous successes.
“Yes, I wanted to do well at the box office, but beating my last record and almost doubling it is better than just doing well.”
With her latest feat, the talented actress and producer has not only surpassed expectations but also positioned Alakada: Bad and Boujee as one of the biggest box office hits in recent Nollywood history.
Fans and industry peers flooded her post with congratulatory messages, praising her resilience, talent, and ability to bring audiences to cinemas in droves.
