Veteran Nollywood actress Hilda Dokubo has taken to social media to express her concerns about the use of God’s name in perpetuating lies and wickedness.
In an Instagram story post, she queried God’s apparent slow judgment on individuals who misuse His name for wicked purposes.
She also expressed that she had invoked Christ’s name over 60 times in a single minute.
She wrote..
“Dear God, why do you allow people to use your name in carrying out their lies and wickedness. I just have shouted Christ more than 60 times in one minute”.
While Hilda Dokubo’s post did not explicitly mention any specific individuals or circumstances, many speculated that it might be related to the ongoing controversy surrounding gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her former record label, Eezee Conceptz.

In another news, Hilda Dokubo defends herself against reports of Labour Party suspension, financial misconduct.
The veteran actress was accused of a litany of charges including financial misconduct, abuse of office, and flagrant breaches of party regulations, among other damning allegations.
A letter allegedly addressed to the LP chairman of Asari Toru, signed by ward chairman Ajalamonia Ibama, secretary Lole Amacheer, and treasurer Emmanuel Ibamathe, indicated her suspension.
However, in a defiant and fiery video posted on Instagram, Dokubo slammed the reports, declared that she was never, at any point, suspended from the Labour Party.
She didn’t just stop at denying the suspension; she went on to expose what she called a sinister plot against her.
Dokubo boldly claimed that the names listed in the supposed suspension letter were all members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), hell-bent on smearing her reputation.
