The news of his demise was announced by his colleague, Kunle Afod, who shared a video of his last visit to Asa Koko’s house on Instagram.

In the video, Asa Koko is seen narrating his battle with an undisclosed ailment that had kept him in the hospital for over two years.

He expressed gratitude to the governor of the state who had visited him during his hospitalization.

Asa Koko, who was known for his unique acting style and had married 10 wives, showed Afod his swollen leg and attributed his survival to God’s intervention.

The veteran actor’s health struggles were evident in the video, and his passing has come as a shock to his fans and colleagues.

Kunle Afod’s caption accompanying the video announced Asa Koko’s death and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.

He wrote:
