Emeka Ugwuonye, the lawyer representing May Edochie, has responded to the news of Judy Austin’s third pregnancy, the second wife of Yul Edochie.
Recall that Yul Edochie recently announced Judy Austin’s pregnancy on social media, sharing a video of her.
May Edochie’s lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye in reaction, stated that Yul Edochie’s relationship with Judy Austin constitutes adultery, as his marriage to her is void in law.
According to him, the continued public display of their relationship, including the announcement of Judy Austin’s pregnancy, is an affront to the court and the legal system.
He argues that this behavior shows disrespect for the pending court case and the law.
May Edochie’s lawyer highlighted the need of challenging this behavior in court to prevent similar situations from arising in the future.
He wrote:
“JUDY AUSTIN’S THIRD PREGNANCY IS AN EFRONTRY TO THE COURT AND MARK OF IMPUNITY
There are certain things you do not do unless you feel that you are above the law or that the law has no effect. That is how one must characterize the subsequent pregnancies of Judy Austin from Mr. Yul Edochie. Why is it so?
Yul Edochie’s relationship with Judy Austin constitutes adultery. His marriage to her is void in law. These are two undisputable facts. The first pregnancy can be called an accident, though the adultery that led to was a deliberate pattern of conduct that lasted for many years.
However, once that pattern of conduct was challenged in court, as it is with the pending case, it is a mark of disrespect to the court and the legal system for Yul to and Judy to continue with the pattern of conduct that is already under judicial scrutiny. We admit that human nature being what it is, Yul and Judy might have found themselves at a point of no return. That is: having started creating a family outside the law, they could have felt that there was no stopping. Given the imperfections of human beings, one could understand that. But there is one aggravating element in their behavior that cannot be overlooked. And that has to do with their constant showing or display of their actions with a clear intent to hurt, embarrass,and humiliate others. Why make a video and advertise a pregnancy that is an effrontery? What was the purpose of the video made by Judy Austin recently displaying her third pregnancy?
It is important that the behavior of Judy and Yul be further challenged in court, and we shall advise that it be done. You must know that when a wrong thing happens and it is not challenged, such a wrong thing will repeat itself. You can see how close TuFace behavior came to resembling that of Yul Edochie. One can bet that if Yul and Judy were never challenged in court, TuFace and Natasha would have been more blatant than what has been seen. There is always an urge to repeat a wrongful act, especially when such acts were not challenged. This is not about Yul or Judy or Queen May. It is about the kind of society we choose to have…”
